Our AGM is an opportunity for members, volunteers, and supporters to come together and help shape the next chapter of Millennial Productions. During the evening, we will:
Present future plans and major project updates
Discuss new ideas and member suggestions

The Millennial Productions Inc. Management Committee (also referred to as the Board) is a passionate team of individuals dedicated to creating exceptional theatrical experiences for performers and audiences across Brisbane.
As a Board member, you’ll have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in governance, finance, strategic planning, and leadership — all while supporting our volunteers and contributing to the growth of the performing arts sector in Southeast Queensland.
The Board is responsible for guiding the long-term vision and strategic direction of Millennial Productions Inc., ensuring that the organisation remains financially sustainable, legally compliant, and mission focused. All of our operations adhere to the Model Rules set out by the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission). We welcome nominations from individuals who are passionate about community theatre and committed to helping Millennial Productions grow and thrive.
The ideal Board member is someone who:Has the time and enthusiasm to actively participate in the organisation’s work.
Shares our values of inclusivity, creativity, collaboration, and quality.
Has an interest in developing or expanding skills in governance, finance, strategic thinking, or leadership.
Is willing to learn, contribute ideas, and support the organisation’s strategic objectives.
You do not need to be an expert in any of these areas to join just bring curiosity, commitment, and a passion for the arts.

Becoming a part of the Millennial Productions Board is an opportunity to:
Gain hands-on experience in not-for-profit governance.
Build your skills in financial literacy, leadership, project planning, and strategic decision-making.
Contribute directly to the development of Brisbane’s performing arts landscape.
Expand your network and collaborate with other passionate individuals.
All Board positions are voluntary but offer a highly rewarding way to make a meaningful difference.

All positions are elected for a one-year term.
Being part of the Board is a significant commitment. Members are expected to:
Attend monthly committee meetings (approximately 1–2 hours) plus 1–2 hours of preparation time prior to each meeting.
Participate in additional meetings as needed during production periods.
Attend two strategic planning sessions per year to help shape the organisation’s future direction.
Note: Time commitments may vary slightly depending on your specific role on the Board.

How to Join the Committee
Download and complete the nomination form.
Ensure it is signed by two current voting members.
Submit it via email to admin@millennialproductions.com.au before Thursday, 16 October 2025 at 7:30pm.
*Please note, you must be a current member of Millennial Productions Inc. to be eligible.
Voting by Proxy
If you’re unable to attend the AGM in person, you can still have your say by nominating a proxy to vote on your behalf.
Proxy Guidelines:
Proxy forms must be submitted no later than 7:30pm on Wednesday, 22 October 2025.
Each person may hold a maximum of three proxy votes.
